I always favoured the Windsor knot but how do you tie your tie?

I very rarely wear a tie these days, whereas it used to be a daily occurrence before retirement. The other day I found myself having to think how to tie it, rather than running on autopilot. It was, of course a Windsor I was tieing, the others are just wrong.

Same here, and on occasions that I'm FORCED to wear a tie I try and keep it simple. It's actually a granny knot but the more I look at it the more I like it. Could it catch on I wonder?

I've been on a sabbatical spending lots of time walking, wildlife watching (WWT Slimbridge and the Cotswold Water Park for birds, and the Royal Forest of Dean for birds, deer and wild boar) living locally is a major plus. I've only been on once (I think) since early December.

As for the Windsor knot, for me it's only weddings and funerals!

Usually I'm in shorts (February through till November, usually, and for December and January I wear outdoor (cargo) trousers and a warm dry jacket.

I didn't see you there!
Do you know the campsites around that area very well?
If you do Randa might like to speak with you.
