As another option for May / June possibly thinking about driving down to Lac Bourget and staying at Aix-les-Bains.

I know all around Lac Annecy and Chamonix but can't remember ever visiting Lac Bourget.

Any site recommendations would be nice.

Had 3rd appointment with Ortho Surgeon today and leg brace has now had lock taken off and hopefully I can remove permanently in 3 weeks time at next appointment.
It will still be a further 3 months before leg id fully back to the way it was before or even better.

Hello David and yes we visited the place but many moons ago and with friends and we were either in a gite or B&Bing. Not much help I'm afraid, but good news on the leg, whatever you did to it. I had some good news too on Friday when my legs were discharged from the ortho clinic at Winchester.
