I saw a hanger, that has the top part of the hanger on the rail but the
cross piece had a slot in it that allowed it to be lifted and dropped
onto the fixed piece. You see them in offices.
I took a length of wood and cut two grooves to slot over the rail fittings,
so to get an ordinary hanger off the rail you had to lift the heavy wood
up. This was in my Puck L 230GT wardrobe as being an end wardrobe
it had a tendency to bounce and throw hangers off.

We don't have any hangers in the van. Since we're going camping whenever we use it, we don't take posh clothes which need hangers.
