Hello friend´s,
i hope this is the right place to post my light sun canopy adapted from a canopy for home- terraces.

Weel i have buyed this canopy on a supermarket verylight and tissue was a sort of yelow-orange!

The front iron supports

Then we started to join the joint

And this was the final aspect:

This was all house made by my wife.We only buy the canopy and the iron supports.
Total cost in euros was 37€.
Overall it was a very usefull canopy during our last summer holidays in France due to the perfomance. It have withstood rain and so after eight straight hours began to sag!
So it´s not the proper canopy for heavy rain!
With the strings of the front irons brackets, i have to securely tightened to suport wind gusts.
In certains types of wind i did not assemble the canopy for security.

Positive feedback

Very light and easy to set up.

Negative feedback
Not the right canopy for heavy rain.

Regards
Ricardo e Sónia

Hi both. As Rod says what a fabulous colour. We bet it's lovely to wake up to even on dull days.

Are you planning anywhere in France this year?

Thank you for your comments!

This year as "always", we go to France and we do a stopover in Pyrennées near Lourdes, and we think to go to north of Italy but we don´t know for sure. If we can´t go to Italy we go to explore the Alps and Provence.

Ah yes. We stayed near Lourdes in 2011 and this year we will be travelling north from Spain, through the Somport Tunnel and stopping near Pau at the end of May.
