Friday, fitted 6 new Led bulbs in the living area
Saturday, got the steps out and gave the van a good wash down after its winter outside.
Today the handle on the hitch got my attention as it looked awful

Don't forget to adjust your payload to take the extra weight in paint into account.

I used ordinary car spray primer and paint as it was sunday and I already had it in the shed.
As the handle is made of some sort of alloy I should have used etch primer ................if there is a problem with it I will do it again using etch primer

Tomorrow, it'll get another wash and a dry! Then a coat of "harly" I will have to polish the roof at some point but my ladder is broken at the moment, I can and have washed it but just can't apply pressure from my work platform I like a clean outfit!

do the led work without the battery or do they flicker?

Tried them on the mains, they seemed ok to me no flicker that I noticed.

Gave ours another wash yesterday it was covered in the dust from the Sahara most of it came off easy but the awning rail was a lot more difficult I normally use cotton wool balls soaked in a wash solution but yesterday i had to resort to a soft (baby bottle cleaning brush) anyway all clean now.

I am going to wax it again later next week but first i want to polish the roof again

Then i have to reproof the pop top, i spoke to another Eriba owner (he was from the other place) and he said he actually painted the inside of the pop top with reproofing agent when i asked why he said "it soaks right through anyway and i don't have to use a ladder" I'm not sure about doing that but i'll see what happens when i start applying it by brush

What on earth sort of reproofing is he/was he talking about for goodness sake. Reproofing the canvas yes I can understand that, although it's never leaked or got even overly wet on our vans, but darn it the pop-top itself is GRP with insulation on the inside so it doesn't need and can't be re-proofed from the inside.

It's the canvas I'm on about, to me it is the pop top

The hard bit is the roof Lower roof and upper roof

By now you should know that I like a clean Eriba well as I mentioned in a other thread I have given ours a deep clean over the past 2 days. I also polished the roof and although I used this product last year, I kept it to myself as it really is good.

Read the instructions!!!! Do not let it dry!!!!

Really quick simple and effective, next time I am going to use my NEW polisher a birthday present from Mrs Agger

I am not really as anal about the van cleanliness, as long at looks OK to me. The roof edge does need a clean though and I might give her the whole rinse over before we go out again in 3 weeks time, but there again I might not.
