Out of interest for you I replaced the pneumatic wheel with the Alko soft wheel. It was a direct replacement, and I had no problems over gravel, grass or over my kerb using my motor mover.

I ordered the Alko Premium Jockey Wheel from The Caravan Shop which arrived this afternoon. Weighs a ton and was sent in the original Alko cardboard box, which had not survived the tender care of Parcel Post. Taking photos as I unboxed it, it was clear that not only was the packaging damaged, so was the item, to the extent that when I removed the winding handle assembly, it was clearly noticeable that the screw shaft to which it attaches was bent!

Spoke with the Caravan Shop, the chap acknlowledged that the assembly was too heavy for the box (!) and that he would send me a replacement packed in an extra box. Makes on wonder...
