Hi eckcan here, I received my latest piece of eqipment for my love. A handy litle heater that justs plugs into any available socket. It was advertised in the latest caravan magazine from the caravan club, it looked tailor made for the eriba clan. It arrived yesterday in a huge box big enough for two items never mind the one they sent.Tried it out in the sitting room and it works just fine. Well worth the 19.99 they charged for it.I may even buy another once I have used this one .http://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/drink/t0351.gif eckcan just raring to get back out on the road.
Address for Beldray EH3001STK 500 WATT Handy plug in Heater (no1brands4you.co.uk) Hope that helps.

We bought one from Lidl about 9 months ago. Quite efficient in heating the van up quick if on ehu. We also used a 800watt Mini Radiator as well.

I wonder if anyone has tried this little 250w desktop heater? Interested to know if it would heat up a small van reasonably quickly...or at all in fact.

500 watt is fine for temps around 8/10c if left on for a couple of hours, but I don't think 250 watt would do the job

Hi could you post a link to your little heater - thanks. Clicked on the link in your post and it takes me to a smiley face holding a pint of beer. Many thanks.

Agree with Oscar that 250w sounds too small to heat a van. Our Troll would be OK with 800w Oil Radiator but if temp dipped to about 8deg would then need fire to warm comfortably

I hate to say this but I got one of those a couple of years ago and the problem was that the vibration noises were so loud that it went straight into recycling.
Édit to say it wasn't the same make, but same principle.
