waterprroofing the pop top

Hi,

2nd post :)

Couple of question re the fabric pop top on our Triton 430 GT 2005.

In heavy wind and rain it leaks; can anyone recommend a waterproofing solution ?

The inside netting has some mold spots, can the netting go in the wash ?

Any recommendations on how to get rid of the spots off the fabric - its not a lot, but needs sorting.

Thanks in advance

Rob

p.s - we've had our Eriba for 6 years and only just discovered this site, a wealth of information :) Thanks

Put 'reproofing canvas' into the search box ^ and follow your nose from there.

There's tons of advice.

Hi Rob and welcome to Eribafolk.

As per Eribanaut above. You'll probably only just get away with one bottle for a Triton. Maybe it'd be prudent to purchase two as the second one will always keep.

Yes you can put the net in the wash, spray with a mix of Milton and water while still on the van then put in washing machine it will come out like new.
The pop top canvas can also be cleaned with the Milton mix then sprayed with clean water it will take off any mouldy spots.
