Thule Xpress bike carrier

I know others on here have done this because this is where I got the idea from, such a simple and effective way of mounting a bike carry system. Here it is with our two Moultons:

I have done a similar conversion, though coming off the jockey wheel mounting like the attached design, but have yet to actually use it as it's been too d*mn hot for cycling...

Have tried the Xpress bike rack on my car and I was very impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of the design. Shame they don't make it with aluminium tube, though, as it is quite heavy as it is in steel.

I have installed mine so that you CAN open the door locker with the cover on the ball hitch - just!
