What about this:-

Especially when towed by this:-

Perhaps someone can enlighten us to what make the car is? It's 1970'ish UK registered but it looks to have a Standard Marque Emblem on the radiator and I think Standards finished before 1970. A home made job perhaps?

Can't help with the 'Name" - but I suspect that it's a Kit Car ,judging by the' recent' looking rack and pinion steering gear :)

Definitely a kit car. It looks like a Midge - a lot of those are Triumph Herald-based, and according to the gummint's registration database TJF 340H is a Triumph Herald.

That sounds about right - and would account for the 'splined knock-on' wire wheels, which would be from the Herald based Spitfire - my theory anyway !

Swift caravans have made an unusual small caravan called the Base camp, it looks quirky like a T@B...

Looks like several ideas taken from the American Airstream "Basecamp" (including the name !) The Airstream is now improved and back i production, after only a short production of the previous version , which was very 'utilitarian' ! and costly (IMHO !). The Americans are probably needing to downsize their cars, so need a much lighter 'van ?

We've been in the Swift Basecamp today at the NEC. It has a slightly spartan feel but is obviously a very versatile unit with its wide rear door and modern fittings. The bench seats are 6' seats or single beds but can also be a large double. There is a huge opening skylight at the front. The benches can be flipped up to open the space for bike storage or large object transport. It has a full sized shower and wc, an oven and hob and gas or electric central heating.
It seems to be quite a departure from the WWBs that Swift usually make!

Yes, very clever indeed. I wonder if what you at first thought were toilet rolls later expand into kitchen rolls.
