An Eribafolk Facebook Message from John Thawley.

Official introduction post. Picked up our Hymer 550 yesterday in Dallas Texas. Couldn’t let you Brits and Euros have all the fun. So when we heard about Hymer North America going under we figured it was now or never. This was one of only three left for sale in the western US.

Spent last night at a winery using the web service Harvest Hosts for the first time and couldn’t be happier. Looking forward to the rest of the journey back home to Southern California.

I’m not very business savvy but it amounts to Thor buying EHG (Hymer) so as it already owns Jayco it’s about the biggest RV group around!

Here's an interesting weight comparison between John's American Hymer 550 and the German version.
