Troll roof thickness

Hi all, does anyone know how thick the roof is on my 2016 Troll? I want to screw something into the roof from the inside and don�t want to go through.

The inner/lower skin [of hardboard?] is only a few mm thick and then you have 26mm of insulation, assume polystyrene or a rigid foam. You could not really fix anything of weight to this. The only exception would be if you can find the few solid battens that run across the roof. You may be lucky and find these by shining a light along the surface. They usually show up more with age as Randa has found out. Interior Spruce Up

You could remove a screw from your smoke alarm which should indicate a safe length of screw.

Thank you for the info. I had assumed that the roof was plywood as I took out and washed the fabric on my previous 2009 Troll and disconnected the spring lifters and the roof weighed a ton. I hadn�t thought that it might be a battened framework. Ummm, what to do?
