..I need an awning for our 2002 Eriba Hymer 430T Future. Ca

Hi,
I would like to buy an awning for our 430T Future. I would prefer a full awning and not just a sun shade. Ground sheet etc would be nice.
Any advise would be welcome as to where to buy one. The length from the bottom of the rail track front to back is 3.10m.

Welcome Graham. Unfortunately I do not believe any company still makes an awning that is specifically designed for your Eriba.
Unless you are fortunate enough to find one on the likes of e-bay where I have seen an odd one appear over the last few years you will probably have to resort to a low height/campervan awning. You could start by looking here:- https://www.vango.co.uk/gb/374-fixed-awnings and https://www.kampaoutdoors.com/awnings who have expanded there range since Dometic buy-out.
I own a Kampa pop-air for my Triton which is a good compromise on price/quality. If you can slide an awning into your track and just use the top horizontal part of the rail a 290 might be suitable, but I think this is a long shot. As such you would be back to a Vango which are I believe a better quality product and would be my first call.

Our team of "Future" owners are still snoozing at the moment but I'm sure they'll advise you when they log in

I was wondering that if an awning for a Future is impossible to find, whether you could get a normal Eriba Touring awning to fit? To start with you'd need to measure the length of horizontal awning rail you have on the Future and also the height of that rail from the ground.

You're probably ahead of me here but the full awnings for the Touring range do not slide into upright rails and the sides are not fixed in any way other than by ground pegs; they rely on the foam bumpers to stop side drafts.

Hi, (sorry Roger, just woken from my snooze!!)

We have the Future 430T and to date have not found an awning that fits our rail. We have tried 3 so far and the best by far for speed of erecting and able to withstand wind gusts is by Sunncamp. We have the Sunncamp Swift Van (Low) 260. Beware as the same part numbers come in 2 heights 185-200 (Low) and 250-265 (High)...you need the low style.
They are now doing the following as a full awning, which you may prefer...

One other option if you have very deep pockets. Fortex in the Netherlands make all awnings to order and have in the past made Future awnings s have templates etc.
They buy back in awnings and also have ex display models that they will re-make to your requirements/fit needed for a specific caravan. https://www.buycaravanawning.com/
