A few days ago I had reason to check out the Eriba dealership map on their website. It flagged up Broad Lane Leisure as dealers, but inspection of their website showed no sign of Eriba at all. Then this morning they post a video walkround of a Troll 540 in their showroom on Facebook, with a note that says they have them on display at both branches.

So yes, it seems we have a new dealership, Broad Lane at Alcester and Kenilworth.

Funnily enough we bought our first Eriba from a couple in Kenilworth way back in 2010 and I remember driving past the entrance to the Broad Lane site on the way back home with Poppy on tow.

Typical though.

Lowdhams, Nottingham 1 hour 35 mins 73 miles
Lowdhams, Huddersfield 1 hour 34 mins 78 miles
Red Lion Caravans, Southport 1 hour 20 mins 62 miles
Broad Lane, Kenilworth 1 hour 31 mins 70 miles
Broad Lane, Alcester 1 hour 31 mins 71 miles.

You'd think that out of five dealerships one could be a lot nearer. Somebody's been using a compass and selecting on the basis of they must be at least 80 minutes drive from SDA.

SDA you need to do a spreadsheet of combined distances if you visit 1,2 or 3 dealerships in one return journey.

That gave me an idea

On Google Maps, driving from home around them all and back home, visiting Red Lion first, is 345 miles and takes 7 hours 26 minutes on the road.

Not a lot of people know that

You could probably reduce the mileage if you walked/cycled :)

How long Andy if we pitched up en route? Could we turn it into an extended holiday/tour of the UK.? Can you tell I need to get away 😁

Does madam wish to limit the daily mileage?

Should we arrange tea/coffee and cakes with each dealer principal?

Should we arrange for an awning erector?

Chilled champagne and canapes at each overnight site?

Evening meal bookings at Michelin starred restaurants only?

Do you want an accompanying lad to wind the steadies, plug in the hook up and fetch water?

Any particular side trips required?
