Can anyone identify this awning please?

A photo of an awning on a van a pal is interested in buying. Can anyone identify it please. Assessments on its effectiveness would also be helpful. I'm not an awning man, as it were, so am unable to help...

Yes Hugh, it's a Walker Touring Plus. The squiggle behind the BBQ gives it away g8p1396-Walker-Touring-Plus.html

A great awning and many folk own one.

Looks like it on a 2001 to 2005 model Triton?

Should be a 2004 Troll.. I've just retrieved mine from storage this morning, and my pal, the potential purchaser (not of my van I hasten to add) is visiting tomorrow for his induction. He saw me camping in it a couple of years ago and has lusted after one ever since...

thanks for the swift reply, Roger...

yes, it is the post-2010 (i think thats the correct year, anyway its the latest design) model with a square awning door-shape to enable annexes to be added either side if required (which the pre-2010 ones dont since they have curved zip openings.

They are of a very good quality: they are specifically designed to fit Eribas, just be careful on the leghth since I believe they can vary. Not a problem for the 5 series Eribas but if the van is smaller and the awning was meant to fit the 5 series there may be a fitting problem.

Best to check I'd suggest:)

Yes, it could be a Troll, Hugh. Picture perspective and all that. I assume he's buying the van and the awning so we know they fit together.

You can print him off some assembly instructions g8p2117-Walker-Instructions.html
