Glossop Caravans are now a Hymer authorised Eriba dealership and are the nearest alternative to Lowdhams, Huddersfield.

Red Lion at Southport are probably slightly nearer than Nottingham.

Wandahome, South Cave are a similar distance in the opposite direction.

I'm bemused by the reference to it being bad times for the industry when it's sold record numbers of vans and has long waiting lists.Though as planning permission to redevelop the site for housing is underway there may be other factors involved.

This is where the problem arrises when the dealership you bought your van from closes and other dealerships refuse to service or carry out warranty work because you didn't buy it from them.

I remember 'the good old days' when Lechlade were the only Hymer appointed Touring range authorised dealership in England and after their withdrawal Automotive Leisure in Poole were the only appointed dealer for a while. Now we have around 10 official dealerships, so in theory a better situation.
