motor mover spinning on tyre

Hi Folks
I haven't been on the forum for some time, life! any way if i can pick your brains, I was trying to put my eriba 320gt up on to the usual yellow plastic leveller with a slight packer underneath and my motor mover was spinning a couple of times on the tyre. I eventually managed with a bit wriggling round but it's never done it before. I put vredestein a/s Tyres on the caravan when i bought it around july/august 2019 & AVL fitted a motor mover when i bought it off them. motor mover moved out as usual to pressure the tyres. neither the tyres or mover has done a lot. i will check underneath when i get home for any movement of the mover fixations but its strange

You don't say which make & model mover you have - is it a secret?

According to most mover manufacturers installation instructions, when the rollers are fully wound off the tyres there should be a gap of about 20mm between roller and tyre.

Also the tyres must be inflated to the correct pressure.

The roller-tyre gap looks ok. Could be tyre pressure - what do you usually pump them up to?

By memory around 45 psi but again that has been the same since I bought it. I’ve been under it tonight & also the tyres are 2019 so I will order 2 more, splitting hairs but rubber hardens with age but I see to many tyres cracking ( my job) particularly since the EU leaned on tyre manufacturers to make green tyres. We’re now seeing Michelin tyres factory fitted on Citroen & Peugeot 5 years old & absolutely rotten
