Washer? For awning pegs

Hi folks
I have some rather large pegs for my awning which are certainly needed when on Mull. Anyway the yellow plastic toggle type things they have on pegs slowly get broken & I could do with some new toggle/washer type things to slide over the pegs. Just wondering if anyone has come across the ideal thing to use

Try repair or heavy duty washers (kayfast on ebay)

I wonder if they start to get a bit brittle with age as I seem to be breaking more of these tops on the heavy duty stone ground pegs

Or it might be that my aim is getting worse as my hand shakes increase and I am hitting the plastic more than the metal heads .......................?

I buy things like this - https://www.screwfix.com/c/screws-nails-...wdrivertype=hex - with a Hex head and drive them in with a 13mm socket on my battery drill. The often come with a large weasher as they are used to fix roofing sheets on timber buildings.

And when I say buy, I bought some 15 years ago (and split a pack with a pal) and am still using them...

I have some of those too. I generally use Kampa Rock Pegs, because I have found them to be more robust than the orange ones. I also have some ultra lightweight titanium pegs, which are incrediblly strong.
