Like many owners, particularly those who go abroad, I have always carried a Calor bottle and a Campingaz 907. If I was to run out of gas abroad I know the Campingaz are readily available and can also be used on a Cadac, Gas BBQ etc. 5-1600.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte) The problem is the preferred 6kg Calorlite bottle has gone through stages of being unavailable as Calor have withdrawn it several times. The most obvious replacement is a 6kg Flogas bottle at near identical weight and dimensions. https://www.flogas.co.uk/product/6kg-propane-gas-cylinder They also distribute the old see through style BP bottle that was withdrawn some years ago. https://www.flogas.co.uk/product/5kg-gaslight Planning in advance I managed to pick up a supposedly empty gaslight for £10 only to find it 1/4 full when I cleaned the bottle. Both of these bottles take a 27mm clip on fixing, which I had one of from many years ago. The black hose I use from bulkhead to Campingaz bottle was out of date and I then realised that the hose end fitting would accept both the Campingaz and the 27mm clip on for the Flogas bottles. I sourced a 750mm stainless steel hose as it has a 20 year life and at 63 I think this will probably take me to the end of my caravanning life [sounds morbid doesn't it] https://www.gasequipmentdirect.co.uk/pro...E&cn-reloaded=1 So I'm now ready for any eventuality when when Calor finally stop distributing the Calorlite. In the meantime I have two big bottles for the UK and when abroad can swap one over for the Campingaz. UK set-up gas bottles-1600.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte) Colin
