We’ve just been checking our new Dometic 365 awning today. (Wasn’t so easy in the afternoon heat!)
The awning itself seems great, although we didn’t try pegging it into our block paving.🤪 However, the drip strip was another matter altogether; I found it very stiff and awkward, needing soaking in hot water before we could finally get it fixed, at the cost of skin on my knuckles.
Is it meant to stay on or am I being a wimp?

I have left our gutter strip on for nearly 5 years now with no issues. It is not affected by towing or the weather.

I threw my rain guard in the bin and bought the one from sealsdirect

We bought the Seals Direct version too (and it's great) - never had the Kampa one as we had heard horror stories...
