We recently hired an Eriba for a couple of nights just to make sure it was for us and found love2caravan in Lincolnshire very helpful.

Sounds like a good idea. Here's the link http://love2caravan.co.uk/ .
Just before we bought an Eriba we saw one on a campsite in France and rushed across to have a closer look. It had a German registration. The tall man towing it happened to be leaning into the door and we asked him if he liked it. There was a certain amount of hesitation before he said "It is satisfactory". At that moment he turned round to face us and we realised he had a big sticking plaster across the front of his very bald head! Our first encounter with an "Eriba Kiss!" Since then even I've experienced lesser injuries (5' 4") and Roger has come a cropper, usually when wearing a cap and misjudging the height of the door when I destract him! This Eriba was a hired one too, so they must rent them out all over Europe.

Must admit I suffer the Eriba kiss usually if I wear a baseball cap so try and only wear it away from the van

Interesting they have upholstered as one reason we are exploring by one on the continent is to get away from the 2014 beige fabric....I do like the yellow pop up though....
