There are some velcro tabs around the perimeter air beam but I doubt they would be in the right place to fit an inner tent. I think they are provided for fixing led lighting strips.

Hi We have a pop up inner sleeping compartment that does not need any support. It can be collapsed during the daytime if necessary.

Could be this one. There don't seem to be any others.

The reviewers who panned it because they couldn't fold it up again need to sort themselves out. Hopeless.

Thanks ChezMart I've only just been made aware of this posting and it answers a lot of my questions.

Did you have any strong winds when you were using the Pop Air in France and if so how stable was the awning? Did you use the storm straps that come as an extra?
Cheers

I don't remember having any strong winds but it feels like it would withstand quite a bit. The Air beams are quite firm when fully pumped and would also flex with the wind unlike a framed awning.

We've had gusts up to 40mph and the awning was stable. We used the storm straps.

No connection etc but very good service

Ian,
I am wondering about the skirt arrangement on this awning as I have bought one for my new Triton, that does not allow a full length skirt to be fitted
I had thought about a short cut through the cord at the back of the van, and then hold the skirt in place with a couple of suckers, like this 45mm screw headed version on e-bay, 4 for £3.85:-

What age troll do you have?

Thanks - Colin

Colin,
Our Troll is a 2014 model. I have the same problem with a gap between the rear end of skirt and the awning - lets draught in and provides an escape route for the Springerdoodle. I like your ingenious solution
It would be a good way, too, to attach the flap that I have to cover the wheel-arch.

Thank you Ian. I have ordered them. Test time will not be until July.

You could even use a small pop-up tent I guess. Like this one?
