Ruined for me ( and possible Neville Chamberlain) when the crowd were sporting hand waving Union Flags which were all UPSIDE DOWN on their sticks when his plane touched down at Heston

Oh dear, even Rishi Sunak is at it. A still taken from BBC footage of the Riga Summit yesterday. There is no excuse for there must have been many minutes of setting up time before the commencement of the statement our PM was to make. It's right in front of his eyes and a simple fix.

The good old BBC are at it again. This time in their ad for the forthcoming Red Nose Day by featuring S Club 7 with an upside down Union Flag. There are so many people in the UK now who obviously don't know the difference and probably don't care.
Perhaps the missing one from the 7 did care so left the stage.

You are in "good" company. Some examples of how not even our politicians know how to display the flag (there is also a French one). It can be understood at the stadium in the fervor of support, but not in official ceremonies.
