Vango Hexaway Awning - brilliant

Dear Folk!

Just to let you all know that we bought a Vango Airhub 'Hexaway' II Low Drive Away Awning 2019 version a month ago and tried it out in Dunbar caravan park in both sunshine and torrential rain - fabulous! Like having a very luxurious extra loungeroom.
We attached it direct to our Thule wind out awning - very easy to do once we got the hang of it. Blows up from just one pump point. Brilliant.
Anyone want to know more about it, let me know and I shall take a photo of it on next rip away in Northumberland - weather permitting...

I didn't buy it from this website but here is a link...

Always good to have a recommendation I thought.

Hi Mate. A pic in the Awnings gallery would be great when you can. Thank's for the info.

I believe that is the same awning my cousin has with his camper:

Was searching for reviews of the Hexaway as we think this is the one we'll go for, as we have two older children, their bikes and a dog to fit in with us for the next few years. Would you recommend the sun canopy? It looks as though it would make the pitching size a bit unusual (wider than it is long) so I guess wouldn't work on regimented campsites (not that we are aiming for those particularly).

Anyone else got a Hexaway?

I bought the sun canopy for the hex. It is large and gives good shade. We've only had it up twice when hot. Not sure it would work on a small pitch!

Hi Ed T
That looks a really smart piece of kit that would fit your Troll brilliantly

Have watched the video and really like all the ventilation and the mesh. When we got the Swift Vareo 260 delivered last week that was one of the things that was missing. That's the quality that you expect when you pay Vango or Outwell prices.

Looks as if it should be something that you get a lots of years use from.

We have the hexaway awning too, we love it, The drive away means I can use it as a stand alone tent/shelter for some of the outdoor events I go to.

Why of why do the photos go upside down
