Oh Bugger!

Well, that mysterious loud bang we heard while towing the Triton back from Cornwall has now been explained. Look what I found while fitting the winter cover this afternoon!

I've emailed Jandi for the price of a new one but I shall be sure that I'm seated before opening their reply.

At least the caravan now matches its tow car which has a chipped windscreen from a stone thrown up by a lorry in France a year ago.

If anyone knows of anyone breaking Eribas who might have a second hand window for sale, please get in touch.

Hi Aaron,Troll 550 on eBay, front damage (not repairable) £2150, I assume they are selling what's left. Might be worth a call ?

I thought of that, but the listing is incorrect as the van is far later, probably a 2010 Forever Young. I think the front windows might be different height

Thank you but according to their advert they don't sell parts, only complete, non-repairable write offs for spares.

Also, from the pictures it looks as if it has had a major front end impact as neither of the front windows is pictured whereas all the others are.

These might be able to help, do you intend to claim on insurance?

These people have proved helpful in the past to several Eriba owners with window problems.

Fingers crossed.

I don't belieeeeeeeve it! I've got one.

The company that Roger put me onto last night (The Caravan Centre, Blaenavon) have one in stock, delivered for £150 so I didn't hesitate. It will be here on Tuesday so I shall be biting my nails until it's safely delivered and checked to be the right one.

The young lady I spoke to (Colette bach) could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. There's lovely.

Really pleased for you. As you say, let's hope it's the correct one.

I've not dealt with them personally but have sent several Eriba owners in their direction and all have come away happy.

Just in case the window you get isn't right, just found this link. https://www.caravanwindows.net/services/...s/brands/eriba/

The website only gives basic details but they are apparently the only UK after sales partner for Polyplastic (who make the windows for Eriba) They also supply replacement fittings, catches and seals etc.

Wouldn't mind betting that they would be a bit cheaper than buying via a dealer.

Sorry to hear about your problems but as a newbie to eriba caravans and shocked at prices you quote for just a plastic window, is the £150.00 for a new one or secondhand. I don't need one but i'm just educating my self on prices of spares

Useful link Stevejoyce, might be worth posting in the "Helpful Links" section.

That's for a second-hand unit.
