Replacing a front window?

If anyone has replaced a front window in their Eriba, I'd appreciate any pointers as to how to go about it.

I've got half way through the process on previous occasions. First step is to get the window stays off. You will find a small hole in the mount on the window. If you poke a pointed thingy into the hole, ie a meat skewer, then you should be able to slide the window stay off the mount that is bonded to the window.
I think the next step should be to pivot the window up to the horizontal and slide it out sideways.

Thanks, Colin. I wondered how the unit was attached to the hinge bar thingy and that makes sense.

No doubt all will become clear when the replacement arrives on Tuesday.

It's very easy Brian. Just follow Colin's advice except on your age of van there may be (grey?) plastic end blocks screwed into the mount Unscrew and remove one end. When you put the replacement window back in, put a little bit of sealant under the end block before finally fixing.

If you have to use your existing hinges, some alignment might need to take place to get the window to shut and seat properly so a dry run might be in order before sealing and screwing the end block back in.
