So you're back where we found you. West of the Tamar. Do you remember what we jokingly called you when you were a working man?

A Bridge Too Far

Seriously though, you're more hardy than us (no I don't want a kiss ) by going out in this weather. Have fun and keep us posted.

Are there any other hardy folk around who'll be spending Christmas in the Eriba?

Not on your nelly , put it away covered up in October won't uncover it until April . Nice warm fire to sit in front of indoors .

We're venturing out for 3 nights on 27th - just a local trip to the Malvern Hills, our maiden voyage to test everything out.

You're braver than us. It's that dash for the shower in the frost that puts us off lol

We'll be in ours as usual - in the Peak District National Park with views of the beautiful countryside from every window

In our back garden

I admire all these owners for winter camping. They must be very young or have a lot of alcohol in their blood.
We did manage it last X-mas, but I don't think it counts as the caravan was in the garage attached to a warm house. Peace from the mayhem of visiting family.

Yes we young ones can cope with the rigors of winter. Looking forward to my New Years swim in the sea followed by a stiff brandy

Doesn’t really count as Winter or Christmas but we’re here on the Costa del Sol.
It’s been 18° to 20° for days on end but today it’s hammering down and blowing a gale.
The forecast is for the usual sunny 18° after tomorrow for the next few days which should include Christmas.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you all.

We've spent 3 Christmases in the Eriba, but that was 2 in Morocco and one in Spain, at least there we didn't have to roast our nuts to keep them warm .
