Looking at ours, I'd say that a sit down shower may be a possibility, but if standing up, there are just too many obstructions to movement. I would also be concerned about the long term effect of having lots of water and steam being sprayed around, but I'm happy to be told that I'm over thinking it.

I can't think that an occasional shower would do any harm, providing the curtain was carefully arranged, but two daily showers every day for weeks might be risking problems.
