560

Looks like a 430/530/550 rear lounge and presumably a fixed bed isn't an option, otherwise there'd be nowhere to sit and eat.

Up front is a bunk but that will be the same width as a 430/540 front dinette, so the door is in the same place as a 540/542, with no need for a different underframe. The front windows seem a but superfluous, given that the bunk must keep out a lot of light, but maybe a blind Troll was a step too far.

The extra space released by using the two narrowest sitting/sleeping arrangements has been used to extend the kitchen and if the text is correct there is a cooker installed. However there are some Americanisms in the text and they sometimes refer to the gas hob as a 'cooker'.

That extra space on the nearside has been used to accommodate a fridge and, sadly they haven't opted to adopt my idea to use the extra space for a proper shower cubicle. The washroom looks to be the same size as they've all been since 2010, with the 2014 fit out.

One puzzling comment is the bit that mentions awnings not being available. It appears the heating is on the nearside and awnings are almost always fitted to the door side i.e the offside and I can't see how the chimney affects that side of the van.

So, almost the layout I've been suggesting for years, but not quite.

The extra bunk makes it more of a family van, but will they offer it without the bunks, with a single dinette as an option, making a three berther and in that format a fixed rear bed would work too. You could almost have a 560 A, B and C.

That layout definitely looks more manageable than the 8.02m long Hymer 560. https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/caravans-en...-mover-voortent

Ok guys, a change for all models will be the fridge. It’s getting bigger and will now be an 80L Dometic 3 way.

I can’t seem to find any information about the new 2023 Eriba Touring range - not even pictures.

Does anyone have a link to the info/brochure?

Hi Kam, the details and brochure have not been released to the public yet. It’s normally released this month but as Hymer have extended their production year for 22 to catch up on their backlog/delays, this may of course be delayed. If you have a specific question, feel free to pm me privately.

The caravan industry Model Year commences on 1st of September. Briefings to dealerships and the Press start during the summer but are usually embargoed to September. Whether Hymer will still announce as usual but go on producing existing range vans to fulfil the backlog, or will hold off the announcements to, say, the actual New Year, I don't know.

In the past the place to spot things like that are the Press Release pages on the Hymer website.

That’s right Andy but that’s uk manufacturers in the main. Eriba dealers are visiting the factory this month for a launch of 2023 range, but I’m not sure when it will be embargoed until

The toilet cubicle looks to be tied in better to the surrounding furniture, some current models are almost an island cubicle and flex whilst in transit causing the toilet door to fly open.

Are you meaning on the only new Touring layout PT, the Troll 560? From the layout diagram it looks identical to the current unit used throughout the Touring range and turned round as it's always been in the 550. Arguably there's a possibility that including the fridge on the nearside opposite the entrance may add some structural integrity to the nearside furniture, though how much it will actually do in that respect is debatable. The furniture flexing is a function of the tubular steel frame flexing and to reduce that you need to address the design of the frame, either in how/where it runs or in the strength/weight of it.

I visited the great big Eriba toyshop, Witoma in NL on Saturday. The sales staff are still in the dark about details for 2023. They are due to visit Hymer in June & July for briefings.
