Ours is the standard 6200 and was fitted by John Rose at the Spring meet at Poole , there is photo of it in the gallery. It does no interfere with the Kampa awning, but it is slightly shorter than the Hymer one and half the price , but as we only use it as sun shade the length is not a problem. The secret is positioning the adapter, when we were looking to have a awning we went to Lowdhams and they wanted to fit a 3 Mir awning which would have pushed the awning out to far, John Rose is the man.

I can't seem to locate the photo that you are referring to - any chance of posting a link to it please?

The 6200 comes in lengths between 2.60m and 4.50m with a projection of 2.0m according to the Thule website https://www.thule.com/en-gb/gb/caravans-...6200-_-620260xx

The image I posted earlier shows the 3.25m version with a projection of 2.5m as fitted to a Troll which, with the Hymer adapter as previously explained, does not project over a vertical line drawn from the awning rail.

If you still have the receipt from John Rose or are in contact with them, could you kindly provide the model number and make of the adapter fitted in your case. Thanks.

The photos are in picture gallery under spring 2017 second page photo 0786 taken by Skodariba .The adapter is the standard Thule adapter for the 6200 awning which is then cut to suit the awning , noting that the adapter does not run the full length of the awning, John Rose supplied and fitted 2.6 awning for £925.

Back on track, I think.

Done the mod on the awning and it seems to have done the job.
No pulling out at front, but did have some at the back until I slid the awning towards the front of the van and fitted the Isabella thingies.
Please note I have none of the guy ropes fitted or storm straps but would do so in windy conditions.
I had to fold the weather strip a little to get better access to side window

Out of interest met a 320 Forever Young owner also with the Kampa awning. He had had NO problems

If you fancy one of these awnings there is one currently listed on e-bay at £64 - although the reserve price has not been met at that current bid.
I should add - it's NOT mine or anyone known to me!

Having reread this thread from the beginning, I have come to the conclusion that this is the way I need to go. I find the original awning too heavy for me to lift and of all the other awnings I have looked at this seems to meet my criteria for my puck. ( 1990 )

Make sure there is one that fits the low awning rail height.

Very Careful.. :) The Pop awnings have a clever dual height system that means that they will fit pre and post 2010 models (260 Puck model only pre 2010).
My Puck is 1990. !

Sorry, the 260 is the Kampa model number, not the Puck one ! Doh !
Fits: Suitable for caravans with a rail height of 184 - 198 cm (except from Pop 260 - 168cm) I measured mine at 163 cm ? so should be ok ?

That looks great Colin, not the acute angle that I have seen on some photos for the taller Eribas. The 320 observation has given me confidence to seriously consider a Kampa pro air for my 2015 Familia, thanks for taking the time and trouble to add your review...

Here is another photo pre-fix. Viewed from the side the awning does seem to sit fairly true, but this pitch was also quite flat.
